Meet Our Team

Cheryl Green Executive Director

Cheryl Green serves as the Executive Director of Provision Bridge, where she leads the team in connecting financial resources with the most urgent needs of our time. With 15 years of experience in nonprofit communities, Cheryl has dedicated herself to serving those with health and medical needs. Her daily decisions are guided by the scripture, “Speak up for the people who have no voice, for the rights of all the down-and-outers. Speak out for justice! Stand up for the poor and destitute!” Cheryl holds a degree from Maria College in Albany, NY, and resides in North Georgia with her husband and two children.

Our Board

David Boone, Chairman of the Board

David Boone is a distinguished trial lawyer and a founding member of the law firm, Boone & Stone, located in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a member of the American Association for Justice and serves on the Board of Directors for the Attorney’s Information Exchange Group. Beyond his legal pursuits, David is also an author and speaker, specializing in topics related to trial practice and tort law, including ethics and professionalism. He actively participates on the boards of both for-profit and nonprofit entities, including his current role on the Board of Directors for Provision Bridge. An avid general aviation pilot, David has accumulated over 13,000 general aviation flying hours in more than 70 different aircraft makes and models. He is also a dedicated member of the Cathedral of St. Philip congregation, where he serves as a weekly lay reader during Morning Prayer.

Bryan Green

Bryan Green holds the position of President at Helping Hands Ministries and has spent the majority of his career in the nonprofit sector, ranging from private boarding schools to leadership roles in local nonprofit organizations. He is actively involved on various nonprofit boards and serves as the president of Prevent Child Abuse for Habersham County. Bryan is a ten-year Rotarian and holds a degree from Nova Southeastern University. He resides in North Georgia with his wife and children.

Michael Franklin, Pastor

With a B.S. from Lee College (now Lee University), a M.Ed. from the University of South Alabama, and a M. Div. from the Church of God Theological Seminary (now the Pentecostal Theological Seminary), Mike Franklin brings a wealth of educational background to his pastoral role. For over 32 years, he has dedicated his life to full-time pastoral ministry, currently serving as the lead pastor of The Torch in Demorest, Georgia, for the past decade. Mike treasures his family, including his wife of 29 years, Connie, and their three children: David, Daniel, and Reneé.

Jeff Whitlock

Jeff Whitlock boasts a 32-year career in telecommunications, with over 20 years in corporate management. His educational journey includes earning an Associate’s degree in Business from Truett McConnell College, a BS in Business Administration, and an MBA from Brenau University. Jeff’s extensive board experience encompasses roles with organizations such as The Red Cross and Chambers of Commerce in numerous counties. He has also served as the chairman of The Habersham County Medical Foundation Board. Jeff and his wife have enjoyed a 30-year marriage and have been blessed with three children and their first grandchild.
